It's my first time working in an all Japanese environment, so it will probably take some time until I get used to everything. Especially using polite Japanese is very challenging because it's almost like a completely different language, but I'm doing my best, so I'm sure I'll get better at it soon. Please cheer for me! =)
Right now we don't have many international customers at Sakura Hotel Hatagaya because of the earthquake a few weeks ago and the problems in Fukushima. Life in Tokyo is almost back to normal though, so I hope we'll be able to welcome you back soon here!
Right now is the best season of the year. The cherry blossoms have started blooming and soon the parks will be full of people doing "Hanami" (= cherry blossom viewing). I'll tell you more about it next time!
