About an hour ago, our guests who have just done check-out made me surprised.
They told me that many airports in Europe are shut down because of the eruption in Iceland.
First, I thought that they were just kidding.
But they had serious expressions..
I found the article about it on website.

Volcanic ashes covered northwest part of Europe.
The particles in them have possibilities to damage airplanes' engines.
That's why many airports in Europe are forced to be shut down and many flights are forced to be cancelled.
I hope they could flight back their home (France) earlier and safely.

Thank you for your comment.
There are many guests who got hung up due to flight cancellation.
I hope they could flight back their home earlier and safely.
The volcano in Iceland is still causing problems. I'm in San Francisco and have a friend visiting me from London in a couple of days. She's worried her flight may be delayed, which will be a problem since I'm leaving for Japan two days after she arrives.
Hopefully we'll be able to catch up before I have to board a plane. It is similar to the relay race in track and field. She's passing me the baton as we race around the world. Do you know anyone in Tokyo that will be going westward soon? :)
Thank you for your comment.
I'm afraid that I don't know anyone in Tokyo that will be going westward soon.
