The Cherry Blossom Forecast

The weather has been very cold and raining all day in the last couple days in Tokyo but it looks like the sun will come out  from tomorrow onwards.

Today let me give you some information about the "Sakura" forecast to find out the best date to visit popular cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokyo. You will get a chance to see sakura trees being in full bloom!

Meguro River

Expect to be in full bloom between March 29^th and April 1^st

Ueno Park

Expect to be in full bloom between March 30^th and April 2^nd

Nearest train station; Ueno (Various JR lines or Tokyo Metro Ginza / Hibiya line)

Expect to be in full bloom between March 30^th and April 2^nd

Nearest train station; Tsukijishijyo (Toei Oedo line)

 

Yoyogi Park

Expect to be in full bloom between April 1^st and April 4^th

Nearest station; Harajuku (JR Yamanote line)

 

Shinjuku Gyoen

Expect to be in full bloom between April 1^st and April 4^th

Nearest station; Shinjuku (JR Yamanote line)

 

Sumida River

Expect to be in full bloom between April 2^nd and April 5^th

Nearest station; Asakusa (Tokyo Metro Ginza line, Tobu Isesaki line or Toei Asakusa line)

 

Chidorigafuchi (Imperial Palace)

Expect to be in full bloom between April 1^st and April 4^th

Nearest station; Kudanshita (Tokyo Metro Hanzomon line)
