I went to watch Sumo (Japanese traditional sports) on Janually 10 at Ryogoku Nationa Musium.
This was my first time to watch the real game alive!!!
My camera is not so good..., but there are many Sumo restler making circle on the stage!
It is fun to look for many many hand stamps displayed on the road in Ryogoku town, like this (this is a hand of Wakanohana, a restler) .
Sumo practice rooms are also located in several spots in Ryogoku.
This is real Mawashi(wear of SUMO restler) desplayed in the musium of Ryogoku National Musium. People can enter here for free!
During the game, I wathced the Sumo restler threw the opponent, push to outside, and in 2 minutes!!
It was quite exciting, and the audience shouted for joy.
Abobe all, Asashoryu(one of Yokozuna restler), was strongest.
And my friend's favorite restler, Koto-owshu, was cool!
If you want to watch Sumo in Tokyo on the next time,
the next game is 9th May, to 23rd May, 2010 at Ryogoku National Musium!!
How about to watch the game alive??
